Revision

Hi!
I have some exams coming up so I have been organising my stationery and preparing for revision. I thought that I would do a post about how to approach revision! I did a post similar to this last year about coping with exams but this post is going to be more about organising your revision. I hope you enjoy this post.
Exams can be tiring and boring so you need to do all you can to make revision more exciting and fun for yourself! A way to do this is to purchase some new stationery. I think that the essentials are highlighters, pencils, biro pens, a ruler and some coloured pens. Here are some pictures of my stationery that I use when revising. I just want to mention my stabilo boss highlighters. I would really recommend these because they are good quality and last for a long time.
To the left is a selection of my fineliners, gel pens and coloured biros. These are useful in revision because you can write key words in a different colour or highlight text by drawing bubbles around it. When I revise, I mainly use A4 sheets of ruled paper but I also use coloured flashcards. Plastic wallets are very useful too so buy some of these!

Once you have your stationery, it is time to buy a revision folder. If you have lots of revision to do, you might need to buy more than one folder. To the left is a picture of my revision folder. Your folder doesn't have to be full of boring revision notes! Design a cool title page to introduce your revision! Take a look at mine if you want some inspiration.

If the folder gets a title page, so should each subject! This is also a good way of organising your revision so you know when each subject starts and stops. I include a 'revision to do' section because this is a good way of keeping track of how much you need to do and how much you have done. Have a look at my geography title page for inspiration. A revision timetable is also a good idea but make sure you stick to it! Take a look at mine!

I hope you have found this post useful! Let me know how you like to revise and share some of your tips with me!
Bye!
